How I can help

What does your project need?

Start a new game or application, finish an unfinished project, or improve one you already have. Choose a service below—or describe your idea and I’ll help you choose a starting point.

01

Game Development

Create a 2D or 3D Unity game for PC, Android, iOS or VR/XR devices. Start with a playable prototype, a small complete game or new features for an existing project.

An agreed playable version, checks on the chosen devices and a plan for release.

See game development options↗
02

App Development

Create an Android or iOS app using Unity. I build the screens and features, connect available services and start with the main task your users need to complete.

An agreed first set of features, an app you can try, source code and setup instructions.

See app development options↗
03

Unity Project Review & Repairs

A project crashes, won’t run or is difficult to continue? I check the code, find the causes and explain what needs fixing before you commit to further development.

Code review · Restore working builds · Fix bugs · Improve code structure

See project review and repair options↗
04

Part-time Unity Technical Lead

Need someone to guide the development without hiring a full-time technical lead? I help plan the work, review code, support developers and check that each agreed step is ready.

Planning · Technical decisions · Code review · Developer support

05

Updates & Support for Older Unity Projects

I help get an older game or app running again, refresh its interface and add analytics. You can then test the updated version with real users and see whether they use it and return.

Maintenance · Interface updates · Analytics · Preparing a new release

06

AI Integrations & Private AI Trials

AI features in your product. Custom plugins that connect your tools. Internal assistants that help your team work with company knowledge.

I’m developing this area of my practice through small trials. We choose one task, agree data access and costs, and check the results before deciding whether to expand.

07

Development with Creative & Testing Specialists

I lead the engineering and bring in trusted artists, QA testers, sound designers and game designers when needed, with one agreed scope and a clear point of contact.

08

Software Testing

With trusted testing specialists, I help check websites, apps and games during development or before release. You receive a clear report of problems and how to reproduce them. I remain your main contact.

Any development stage · Agreed tests · Clear bug reports

Faster software & service connections

I investigate slow loading, low frame rates and other performance problems. I also connect games and apps to services such as Steam, analytics, payment systems and your server.

A practical way to start

Start focused. Keep the budget clear.

Discuss a first step

One useful first step

Start with a focused fix, prototype or assessment. You don’t need to commit to a full build or a long engagement from day one.

A scope that respects your budget

Share the range you have in mind. I’ll explain what is feasible, what needs more investigation and what can wait.

Direct work. Clear terms.

You work directly with me. We agree the scope, deliverables and pricing approach before work begins, and discuss changes before expanding the work.

Reach The Beat

I handled the Unity development through to Steam release

I was the sole Unity developer of this commercial PC VR game. I built the rhythm gameplay, VR controls and vibration feedback, progression, saves, support for multiple languages and Steam integration. I also created development tools, tested on headsets and prepared the release. An artist worked with me on the visuals.

Android/iOS application · Confidential project

I was the sole developer of the Unity application for Android/iOS and designed its code structure. I translated Figma designs into responsive, reusable UI components, built navigation between screens and connected the app to server services and device features. This made a complex interface consistent and easier to extend. The application is used by real customers; its name, purpose and private details remain confidential.

032+ years of mobile game development

Polar Station Survival

For more than two years, I was the sole Unity developer and systems architect for this systems-heavy 2D survival game, owning the complete Unity implementation across 20+ interconnected gameplay and technical systems—from inventory, crafting and research to physiology, quests, offline progression, saves, localization and Firebase Analytics. The team contributed art, audio, game design and balance; I integrated that work into the production versions for Android and iOS.

How I work

A clear plan, one step at a time.

You don’t need a technical specification to start. Tell me what you want to achieve; I’ll explain the options and what I need to check.

  1. 01Your goal

    Discuss your project

We discuss your idea or current project, who it is for, your priorities, budget and timing.

  2. 02Initial review

    Check what’s needed

For a new idea, I check the requirements and main unknowns. For an existing project, I review the code and try to reproduce the reported problems.

  3. 03Clear agreement

    Agree the first step

We agree what I will deliver, the cost, estimated timing and how you will review the result. You decide before work starts.

  4. 04Working result

    Develop, test & hand over

I do the agreed work, test it on the intended devices and explain what changed. Then we decide whether further work is needed.

A private first conversation

Your idea deserves a private conversation.

You don’t need a polished brief to start. Bring your idea, unfinished project or technical challenge. I’ll help clarify what’s possible, where I can contribute, and a practical next step.

An honest assessment. No pressure to proceed. Confidentiality still applies if we don’t work together.

The first conversation helps us understand the fit. A detailed audit, design or prototype is scoped separately.

For your project only

I use your non-public ideas and materials only to assess and deliver your project—not for my own products or other clients.

Nothing public without permission

Your name, project details, screenshots and results go into my portfolio only with your written approval.

Agreed access—including AI

Before sharing confidential material, I agree with you which people and tools may access it, including external AI services.

NDA before sensitive details

We can agree an NDA before you disclose confidential details or grant repository access.

Who you’ll work with

I bring in trusted specialists when your project needs them.

You work directly with me. I write the code, guide the technical work and remain your main contact if other specialists join.

My experience includes a PC VR game released on Steam, an Android/iOS application used by real customers and games with many connected mechanics. I turn Figma designs into working interfaces and build the code, navigation and service connections behind them.
