Software Testing

Test your app or game.
Understand the problems before release.

I coordinate trusted software testers and remain your main contact. They can test websites, mobile and desktop apps, and games at any development stage, including products built without Unity or Unreal. We agree the features, devices and browsers to check before testing begins.

When this fits

A useful quality check at any stage.

01

A prototype or feature in progress

Check critical user journeys early, explore edge cases and turn unclear expected behaviour into testable acceptance criteria before the feature grows.

02

A release approaching

Run a focused pre-release pass over priority flows, installation or updates, and agreed environments. Know which issues block release and which risks remain.

03

A live product changing

Check fixes, new features and dependency updates for regressions. Build a reusable checklist around the behaviour your users already rely on.

What you receive

The work and results we agree on.

A risk-based test plan

An agreed list of flows, acceptance criteria, test environments, device or browser coverage, priorities and exclusions—matched to the available build, time and budget.

Reproducible bug reports

Findings with steps to reproduce, expected and actual behaviour, build and environment details, severity, and screenshots or video where useful. Delivery in an agreed tracker or report.

Retesting and regression results

Recheck fixes supplied by your developers and rerun agreed critical paths. Report what passed, failed, was blocked or was not tested.

A release-risk summary

A concise view of remaining issues, tested coverage and recommendations so you can make an informed release decision. Testing reduces uncertainty; it does not guarantee a bug-free product.

QA specialists join by agreement and subject to availability. Testing does not depend on a particular engine, but supported platforms, access and expertise are confirmed before booking. Test automation, load testing, penetration testing, accessibility certification and regulatory compliance audits require separate specialist scoping. Development fixes are not included unless agreed.

How we work together

Agree the coverage. Test. Report. Recheck.

  1. 01

    Define the test target

Tell me about the product, development stage, intended users and the decision you need to make. We agree the QA specialist, scope, schedule and fee.

  2. 02

    Prepare safe access

Confirm confidentiality terms and provide a test build, staging environment and test accounts. Use synthetic or anonymized data where possible; production access is not assumed.

  3. 03

    Run the agreed checks

The QA specialist executes planned and exploratory checks, records findings and flags blockers early. I coordinate questions and progress with you.

  4. 04

    Review and retest

Prioritize findings with your team, retest agreed fixes and hand over the coverage record and remaining risks. You retain the release decision.

Relevant development experience

Experience behind the offer.

My product-engineering background helps connect QA findings with implementation and delivery. These are development case studies, not claims of standalone QA engagements or testing certifications. The specialist and relevant experience for your product are agreed before work starts.

Interconnected mobile systems

Polar Station Survival

As the sole Unity developer, I implemented connected gameplay, saves, offline progression and mobile delivery. This is engineering context for understanding interactions and regression risks.

Complex gameplay interactions

Match Clash

I implemented puzzle mechanics, battles, unit progression and designer-authored content. The case illustrates why checking individual features and their interactions both matter.

Before we start

Clear expectations.

01Can you test software not built with Unity or Unreal?

Yes. The service covers web services, mobile and desktop applications, and games. We first confirm that the available specialist, tools and environments fit your stack and test requirements; not every specialist covers every platform.

02Can I book only a pre-release check?

Yes. A focused smoke or pre-release pass can be a standalone engagement. We agree critical flows, supported environments, timing and deliverables rather than requiring a long-term contract.

03Who tests the product, and who fixes the bugs?

An agreed QA specialist performs the testing; I coordinate the engagement and remain your main point of contact. Your developers handle fixes unless we separately agree engineering work. Retesting scope is confirmed in advance.

04Will testers need my source code or real customer data?

Not necessarily. Many functional checks use a test build or staging environment. Access is limited to what we agree, under confidentiality terms; we prefer test accounts and synthetic or anonymized data. Code access is requested only when justified by the scope.

Discuss software testing

What needs checking before your next step?

Share the product type, current stage, target platforms and the date or decision you are working toward. We can start with a focused testing pass; no confidential files are needed in the first message.

Have a limited budget? Tell me your priority and the range you’re comfortable with. I’ll be clear about a realistic first step.
